Waldorf School

Aberdeen Waldorf School was founded 1977 and provides mainstream Waldorf eduction for the ages between 3 and 16 years. Waldorf education fosters a respect for childhood and an understanding of what children need in their journey to adulthood. It promotes human values, a comprehensive approach, and a balance between academic and creative thinking.

Waldorf education focuses on what is appropriate for both the pupil's age and their most effective way of learning. To ensure this Aberdeen Waldorf School promotes an education through head, heart and hands.

Waldorf education recognises and addresses the unique spirit of each child, and at the Aberdeen Waldorf School we aim to inspire in our pupils a capacity and enthusiasm for work, respect and care for our local and global communities, compassion for fellow human beings and the willingness and flexibility to contribute effectively to our world.
