NEOS at the Waldorf

North East Open Studios is an award winning, not for profit collective of artists, makers and galleries in the North East of Scotland who open their doors to the public yearly. NEOS is Scotland’s largest Open Studios event! This year it will run from Saturday 14th until Sunday 22nd September 2013. We will be open from 10:00 until 17:00 and visitors can also enjoy our cosy café, a school exhibition and workshops. We hope to see you there!

A detailed programme will be published here soon. Sign up with your email address in the box on the right if you want to be kept informed or follow us on Facebook.

As part of the NEOS City Challengevisitors were able to make chance of winning a voucher of £50.00 to be spent at one of us. The winner of the draw is: Fiona Squires. Congratulations! We look forward hearing from you who you have chosen.

After yesterday's clean-up, it was hard to say goodbye to eachother after such an intensive cooperation. The Waldorf School is already planning a wonderful Christmas fair, which will take place on Saturday 3 December. Working together with our group of artists has been a great success, so it's decided that a small exhibition will be organised during the fair. We hope to seeing you then!

Tuesday 13 September
NEOS is now in full swing and only after three days we can say it's already a great success. We receive great feedback about the venue, visitors are enjoying the cosy cafe, listening to live music and taking part in Carol Meldrum's workshops, the artists are happy with the sales of their artwork and there is lots more still to come! This Friday afternoon will see a singing performance of all the pupils of the Waldorf, so we hope to see you then.

For a 360 degree tour in our venue, please visit this link and also this linkwith the pupils singing. The virtual tour was created by Darren Wright from Visions Photography Club in Aberdeen.
